5k Training Plans

Now that June is here and summer races are beginning, here are two training guides for those wishing to hit the road.

 

 

* Partial credit for this training plan goes to Hal Higdon (I added my own modifications).

** Always warm up (walk or jog ¼ to ½ mile) and stretch before each workout. Cool down the same distance and stretch when your workout is finished. This will greatly help with injury prevention.
