Comments:
The shifting on this bike is perfect. Shifts easily even uphill. The adjustment of the handlebars makes it the most comfortable bike I've been on. I am older and I was losing feeling in my hands when riding my mountain bike, the higher handlebars have helped a lot. The wider tire works good on trail riding a well as gravel roads and pavement. This bike is rather heavy so it could be a bit of a challenge if putting it on a bike carrier.
Pros
- Comfortable
- Great value
- Decent Componants
- Smooth
Cons
- None
Best Uses

Comments:
I hadn't ridden in over 25 years and I decided to get a bike. Just by luck I tried this one and bought it. I am excited about riding now and am actually thinking about getting a second bike (mountain bike). This has the adjustable handlebars and stem so I have been able to fine tune it to me. I did how ever change the twist shift to thumb shifters. This is a matter of preference I guess. This bike is fast and fun.

Comments:
Just bought my Giant Cypress DX yesterday. My first new bike since I bought my 1991 Schwinn Cross-Fit. Took it out today for its first ride. Simply put, this bike is a dream. Comfort is first and foremost with such a smooth ride. Bike shifts as smooth as butter. Hills are no challenge. This bike flat out cruises on a flat straightway. Seat is comfortable from the start of ride until the end. There is so much bike here for the price.
Pros
- Durable
- Lightweight

Comments:
This bicycle is a superb design. On a strait a way it is easy to achieve speeds of 45 to 50 MPH, I recommend you were a good helmet.) I have been an avid cyclist since 8 years old and I honestly believe this is the easiest to become familiar with. Has a great balance is super light but very sturdy. I recommend 60 pounds tire inflation it has great control and can stop on a dime. It is best for paved trails only in my opinion which there are plenty of in [...] and [...] staff are super knowledgeable and make sure you leave after service with everything adjusted to fit your best comfort for short or long rides. I would highly recommend it to anyone loves the freedom of bicycling. For the money you get more than you expect out of a bicycle at double the price.
Comments:
It is very hard to center the front wheel so I recomend a bike rack on the car that allows the wheel to stay on. Other than that it is very well built to precision.

Comments:
Bought an off rental model at the tent sale last month. I love this bike. I've always liked cycling but could never afford a comfortable enjoyable bike. My short yet hilly ride is the most enjoyable way to get to work I've ever experienced. I am really bummed that the weather hasn't been more cooperative so I could enjoy it more. Every morning I agonize over the weather to see if I'm gonna ride or drive.
